Always one of my favorite places to sit and watch the sunset, maybe the occasional boat coming into dock or kids crabbing off the end.
Almost There
This pier looks a lot different now. It's nearly twice as long and the spot to go off on a kayak or paddle board tour of the sound in Corolla.

Long Walk to....
It's a lot longer these days. This was mid-construction. The sound can be very shallow in places, this pier definitely gets out to (slightly) deeper water for kayak adventures.
Sunset Boat Ride
One of the better ways to see the sound and the sunset: by boat of course!
Unique Perspective
While anyone that's ever visited the Outer Banks in the summer time may have spent so much time on this bridge they never want to look at it again, but they probably wouldn't mind seeing it from this point of view.
